THIS PHASE WILL END SOON

The sun had risen - brighter than ever. The sky was clearer and the birds could be seen flying towards their destinations. The darkness of the dusk was no more. There was light and freshness everywhere. The air felt refreshing. The day dawned bright and sunny. Out there in her little world, the curtains seemed to have lost their opacity. The strong beam of light was touching her face gently. Noises of the utensils from the kitchen were audible to her. It was late already, so she had to get up. Her mornings had been the same for a month or so despite the fact that her life was taking twists and turns with every passing second. And yes, she had become used to it.

These times, as they say, test your strength and the ability to withstand any difficulty that follows. Her life was one such example. Everyday she could see herself surrounded by a volley of emotions and she was sort of accustomed to it now. The consequences of her decisions and actions were always faltering. Call it her 'trying- luck' or whatever, she had become a fave of all such events which actually tested her and sometimes made her feel disappointed. When in solitude, she would either cry or laugh it out. Both actions would give her some kind of contentment, some sort of clarity of mind and some space to analyze herself better. Right since childhood, she was the favorite of all. Love, compassion, endearment and what not, were always hers. Never was she denied of anything she had commanded for. A happy-go-lucky kind of a person she was!

But not everything remains the same. Change is the law of nature - everyone has heard of this cliché but probably never tried to contemplate it. Her case was no different. Her life was changing in a lot many ways. It was a drastic change. A change in her identity. A change in what she was. Change after change followed and it became a normal routine. Drifting away from the so- called normalcy became the routine. Soon, she got to encounter the realities of life. The consequences of something she preferred to act oblivious to. She could not feel either happy or sad about it. It was all happening so fast that she was unable to make anything out of it. Indecisiveness, confusion, chaos et al became her companions. In fact, her life became an irresolute battle.

Negativity weighed more on the balance, not because it was so but because of the fact that her sense of viewing things was negative itself. Optimism was needed. No matter how hard the difficulties may seem, there is always a way out. May be the traits of hesitancy and irresolution were kind of dominant in her.  May be, at some point of time, this momentary indecisiveness would not matter to her. May be it was meant to be like that only. May be she was gearing up for something great, something really great.

And you know what, she keeps on reminding herself that: 'This phase will be over soon'. This soothes her heart and gives her some contentment.
