Her Unconditional Love

Because I love you so much. More than words could ever explain. More than anything else, my beloved.
This was what she would say a thousand times during the day. It was kind of spontaneous. Such words came to her lips without reason, no matter what the situation was- faithfully with all her heart and soul and every faculty. Why wouldn't they? After all, she had borne him for nine months with lots of perseverance and patience. All the pangs of his birth faded into nothingness, the moment her eyes fell on him. He was such an angelic figure to her. The mental connection seemed so perfect and everlasting as if it was something she had anticipated all her life. She was a mother now. A mother who had given birth to his son- the apple of her eye.

This moment of happiness had brought along the strongest vigor and enthusiasm for her. She could feel her life. There was something much more than just a reason to live. She had to shoulder lots of responsibilities to nurture him in the best possible manner. She would give herself away to so many sleepless nights in a row just to make sure that he was doing good. He was the biggest source of happiness for her. She couldn't have imagined herself to be loving someone this crazy. His cries would make her cry and his laughter would make her laugh. Every prayer of hers was for the well being of her hero. She would prostrate to ask for his prosperity and health. It was as if her world revolved round this little angel. She felt all the luck to have gathered in her life. Yes, she felt empowered and vibrant like never before. She was a mom now.

Every time she had to fulfill the needs of her child, she would remember her mother. Every action of hers could make her feel all what her mother had endured while bringing her up. With all of it, she would salute her mother for every single effort of hers. With the birth of his child, she could feel herself changing a lot. She had to sacrifice her comforts for the solace of her child. She would do so religiously without complaining. He was a part of her only. Why would she ever complain about it? His presence was a consolation to her- always.

Motherhood gave her a new life, too. She was in charge of making the best out of someone's life. She knew her responsibility quite well. She had to raise him in such a way so that he could live a life which was going to make him reach his terminus. And, in a way, pave a path for his mother's ultimate destination as well.
